Weekend Race Update (9/28/13)

Pickerington Invitiational Update

1) Bus pick up from Worthingway Middle School at 7:15am, please arrive by 7:00am, as the bus will LEAVE at 7:15am.  Parent's may take their students home following the meet if they text Coach Keyes (614-205-774) or Coach Jen (614-209-9979) with their name and the name of the athlete they are taking, or write a note with the same information. Buses will return to Worthingway. If your child is riding the bus, they or the coach will contact you when we are 10-15 minutes away from pick up location.

2) Parent Info for Saturdays Race : 

-Race Time : Girls Varisty (Top 10 Runners) @ 9:00am / Boys Varisity (Top 10 Runners) @ 9:30am / Girls Open (All Other Runners) @ 10:00am / Boys Open (All Other Runners) @ 10:20am. The decision on who is running varsity will be made based on what runners are in attendance for the invitational  and thus will be decided once all athletes have checked in at Worthingway tomorrow morning. 

-Admission : $6-Adults/$4-Students; T-shirts will also be available $10-Short Sleeve & $15-Long Sleeve.

-Address : 7800 Refugee Road, Pickerington, OH 43147

-Directions : 270 East to 70 East to Rt. 256 exit, continue on 256 to Refugee Road, turn left, school is approximately 3 miles down Refugee on the left. 

Eisenhart Invitiational - Help Needed 

1) Hospitality Donations Needed :  We are looking for middle school parents that will volunteer to bring some of the following items to the hospitality area at the Eisenhart. The hospitality area is in the field house down at the flats near the finish line of the race. Hospitality provides food and drink for course officials, coaches, and volunteers. If anyone is able to bring any or some of the following items please send Jay and Diane an email. You can bring these items to the field house when you arrive at the meet.

Items Needed:

·         4  boxes of granola bars

·         2 bags of apples

·         4 bunches of bananas

·         One bag of red grapes

·         One bag of green grapes

·         Three packages of muffins (4 to 6 per package)

·         4 Dozen Cookies

2) Race Day Volunteers : *From TWHS Roadrunners (Race Organizers) : My name is Cynthia MacKenzie and I am the 2013 TWHS Roadrunners President.   We are the proud hosts of the Les Eisenhart Invitational!~  There will be about 60 teams competing throughout the day as well as a community race.  To make this happen, we need all of our wonderful parents to volunteer that day.  In the past the Middle School Parents help during the High School races and the High School parents help during the Middle School Races.  Below is the volunteer opportunity form.  I am asking that you either fill out the FORM and email it back to me or feel free to just email me with the information.
